Owner's Engineering
When you're managing a capital project but don't have the internal engineering bandwidth to oversee it, Owner's Engineering puts an expert in your corner — reviewing designs, managing vendor deliverables, and making sure the project is built to your standards, not just the contractor's.
Your technical advocate
Someone who's on your side of the table.
Capital projects move fast, and contractors and vendors have their own interests. When your internal engineering staff is already at capacity, it's easy for scope to drift, design quality to slip, or deliverables to arrive in a format nobody can use. N2 prevents that.
Design review
Independent review of contractor and vendor engineering submittals — catching errors before they become construction problems.
RFP & specification development
Technical specifications for equipment procurement and construction contracts that protect your interests and ensure you receive what you need.
Vendor deliverable management
Tracking, reviewing and approving vendor documentation, so nothing gets installed based on unapproved drawings.
Commissioning oversight
On-site or remote support during commissioning to verify work matches design — and document what was actually installed.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions
When should we bring in an owner's engineer?
As early as possible. The most value we add is before the RFP goes out, when specifications are still being written — early-stage spec development pays for itself in avoided change orders. We can also join mid-project for design review or commissioning only.
Do you take over the project from our staff?
No. Owner's Engineering is advocacy, not replacement. Your team keeps the decisions; we give them the technical review capacity to make those decisions with confidence.
Can you review work from a firm we've already hired?
Yes, and that's a common engagement. Independent review of another firm's design package is a distinct deliverable from doing the design ourselves, and we're explicit about that boundary.
